Any rental promises will be conditional upon the landlord being able to perform a credit check, verify with the TAL (formerly known as the Régie du logement du Québec), obtain references from previous landlords and/or financial institutions, and obtain proof of employment and income. All of this must be to the complete satisfaction of the landlord and at the tenant's expense.
